HIP97 was for a few the successor for HEU93, but for most, HIP97 was the beginning of a series of events in Belgium that brought together the same bunch of people. (And a lot of new faces).

After HIP97, we organised AH (Apres HIP), PAH (Post Apres HIP), APAH (After Post Apres HIP) and PAPAH (Post After Post Apres HIP). Hopefully that was the last one in the list of silly acronyms now that HAL2001 is coming.
